This hotel is a hidden gem alongside a picturesque river. The charming promenade takes you to the town center in just a few minutes. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, with lovely big windows and balconies overlooking the river. The staff is pleasant and the attention to detail, like the Jugendstil accessories, adds a touch of elegance. The delicious breakfast with its bygone era vibe, complete with cloth napkins and polished silverware, is a delightful start to the day.
All was ok, but the bathtub shower may need improvement.

15 minutes walk from the hotel to Steinerner Steg. I tried quick meals at Mayabay, within 700 feet of the venue. I really enjoyed staying at Westend. Room met my needs.

The hotel was in a nice location, close to the town centre and with a beautiful view of the river. the staff was friendly and helpful, accommodating our needs promptly. They offer free bike rentals and free parking, which was very convenient.
the room was outdated and the heating system was not very efficient, making it quite cold in the room.

Quiet location, yet close to all attractions I wanted to see
Generally so out-of-date, decoration/furnishing was not comfortable etc.

The hotel's location was great, close enough to the town center and with a beautiful view of the river. The room was spacious and tidy with soft linens. We enjoyed the addition of Easter decorations in the dining area.
The staff seemed uninterested in engaging with guests and there was no reception desk to welcome us. the tired atmosphere and dimly lit corridors created an unpleasant experience.

Quiet location a short walk along the riverside to town. In its heyday the hotel would have been stunning and has lots of character now. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic value!
The hotel is a bit rundown but is still beautiful....the parquetry flooring in the room was falling to pieces and quite noisy to walk on.

The hotel has a charming, vintage feel and is located just a short walk from the city center. Guests can enjoy a peaceful stroll next to the river or relax in the lovely rose garden. the restaurant offers delicious meals at affordable prices.
While the hotel has some wonderful aspects, guests may wish that the furnishings were more modern to bring it up to date.
